TAMPA, Fla. — In anticipation of more cold weather this week, Citrus and Hernando counties are opening cold weather shelters for those in need.
Hernando County Emergency Management said they are monitoring the overnight forecast for Tuesday, which is projected to dip into the 30s.

Citrus County Transit does provide free transportation to and from the shelter. View the schedule on the Citrus County Cold Weather Shelter Facebook page and plan to be at the nearest designated pickup 10 minutes prior.
