At Spectrum Bay News 9, Jorja Roman happily gets to do what she enjoys the most: reporting and anchoring.

Jorja joined the Spectrum Bay News 9 team in May 2018 as a Pinellas County reporter. She played a crucial role in our coverage of Jordan Belliveau’s disappearance and death. And, although she continues to cover the stories that impact our communities during the week, you can watch Jorja every weekend as the anchor for Your Evening News.

Jorja started her career at Spectrum News in Albany, New York in 2015, where she reported extensively on the opioid epidemic throughout Upstate New York. There she also worked on a documentary with the Spectrum News team that explored the impacts of heroin addiction on families and communities.

Like many, Jorja was drawn to the Sunshine State because of the beautiful beaches and warm weather. While she grew up in New York, Pinellas County has quickly become home. In her free time, she loves to visit different beaches along the coast.
