Jorja Roman started her career at Spectrum News in Albany, New York in 2015. In May of 2018, she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to continue her career as a reporter at Spectrum Bay News 9.

Before moving to Florida, Jorja reported extensively on the opoid epidemic throughout Upstate New York. She worked on a documentary with the Spectrum News team that explored the impacts of heroin addiction on families and communities. Here in the Bay Area, Jorja played a crucial role in our coverage of Jordan Belliveau’s disappearance and death.

Like many, Jorja was drawn to the Sunshine State because of the beautiful beaches and warm weather. While she grew up in New York, Pinellas County has quickly become home. In her free time, she loves to visit different beaches along the coast.
