Jorja Roman is a reporter and multimedia journalist based out of the Pinellas County newsroom.

Jorja joined the Spectrum Bay News 9 team after working at Spectrum News in Albany, New York for three years. She began her journalism career there after graduating from the University at Albany.

She reported extensively on the heroin and opioid epidemic throughout Upstate New York. In 2018 she worked with Spectrum Networks on a documentary exploring the cost opioid addiction has on individuals, families and communities.

Jorja grew up in New York but now she’s thrilled to call the Sunshine State home. She’s excited to continue sharing important community stories in the Tampa Bay area. 

When she's not reporting, you'll find Jorja soaking up the sun at the beach or shopping.
