Like any other 12-year-old, Olivia Georgi likes to play and have fun. It's what she does with her toys when she outgrows them that sets her apart.

"If you really don't need them or you can't fit into them, someone else could use them," Olivia says.

Once a month, she takes bags and bags to the Child Protection Investigations Office in Pasco County, for the nearly 1,500 kids the office helps each year.

"They come in with absolutely nothing sometimes," Olivia says. "And they get something here and have something of their own."

Olivia's mother, Janet Georgi, smiles as she talks about how it all got started with words every kid dreads.

"Clean you're room! Get rid of the stuffed animals," Janet Georgi remembers saying to her daughter.

Four years later, Olivia has made such a difference, she's earned the Citizens Service Award from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

"It was really exciting," Olivia says. "I had a lot of adrenaline and I blushed a lot."

Right after the ceremony, Olivia made yet another trip to CPI. It was one of many more Olivia says are to come.

"I'm going to keep on doing what I do," she says.

Along with her own belongings, Olivia collects donations from neighbors and the Cypress Middle School lost and found.
