Hillsborough deputies have released updated photos of a missing Bradenton woman whose leg washed ashore in December and her girlfriend, who is also missing.

Hillsborough deputies are hoping the photographs generate new leads in the case.

Last month, it was determined the severed leg belonged to 38-year-old Kelly Moriarty based on DNA.

Officials are also looking for Moriarty’s girlfriend of two years, 62-year-old Doris Wade Carter.

The two women were last seen together in Plant City on Dec. 16.

Kelly’s leg washed ashore in St. Petersburg less than two weeks later.

Detectives have not determined an initial crime scene of where the leg may have been severed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
