Bright House high speed internet customers can now take advantage of WiFi hotspots in other parts of the country for free.

Bright House is teaming up with other cable providers to provide access to more than 50,000 hotspots nationwide.

The newly created network is called CableWiFi.

CableWiFi is currently active in New York City and central Florida and soon will hit other big cities including Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The initiative is planned to extend to even more cities in the future.

“This effort adds great value to our high speed Internet customers by providing free wireless Internet access on all of their WiFi enabled devices in our markets and additional areas across the country,” said Nomi Bergman, President of Bright House Networks.

You'll be able to find the closes WiFi hotspot simply by visiting www.cablewifi.com.

To access CableWiFi, you'll just need your My Services Username and Password or your Road runner email address and password.
