Prince Charming is in love with Cinderella. No seriously. For real. The "Disney on Ice" stars portraying those classic characters are a solid couple off the ice.

We got to know the duo -- along with their pal Rapunzel (portrayed by Ms. Ryan Coombs) -- on rehearsal day at the Amway Center. Disney on Ice presents "Princesses and Heroes" is in town through Sunday. The show involves eight films spanning seven decades, starting with "Snow White" in 1937, up to 2010's "Tangled."

ALLISON WALKER: So you two are actually in love! How did this happen?

SARA BUCK ("CINDERELLA"): We actually met on this show about three years ago in Fort Myers and started hanging out and dating, and then we started skating together.

AW: Did you start as Cinderella and Prince Charming?

SASHA LALONDE ("PRINCE CHARMING"): No. Oh my gosh, well I've been performing with Disney on Ice -- this is my 12th year, actually. So I've been doing lots of things and found, finally, the person that I want to be with.

AW: So you went through lots of "Cinderellas" before you found your real one?

SL: No, no. Actually no. I'm picky.

SB: He is.

AW: So we get to watch you two on the ice during six shows total this weekend. Tell me about how you're incorporated into the theme of "Princesses and Heroes."

SL: For our part, it's about making a connection and lasting impression, on everything, really, and finding true love. She comes out in her gorgeous dress and she just catches my eye and I just need to know this person. So we have this little waltz, some lifts, and everything.

AW: When you see the kids looking up to you -- wanting to be you, essentially -- how does that energy influence your performance?

SB: It's my favorite part of the show, just being able to see the kids' faces and being able to interact with them, all the way up. You can see them all the way up and you want to be able to reach up to all the kids, parents, and everybody who's at our show.

AW: How can you interact with the kids?

SL: We'll be in little segments here and there, so we get to get even more energy in to build up to -- by the time we actually get to our part.

AW: "Rapunzel," I don't want to leave you out. Is this your character's debut?

RYAN COOMBS ("RAPUNZEL"): This is her debut with the show in the States. She's been in the show overseas for about two years now.

AW: What stunts are you performing?

RC: Throughout the show, we have so many different talented skaters doing different flips and spins and difficult 'pair lifts' all throughout the show.

AW: I always wondered how in the heck you can ice skate wearing elaborate costumes.

RC: We have a lot of time to practice and get used to it. We do so many shows throughout the year that it just becomes that second nature.

AW: Rapunzel has wicked long hair. How does it not get in the way?

RC: A little Disney magic helps that.

Here's a summary of the show, according to a press release:
