A Wesley Chapel woman severely injured in a motorcycle crash on April 3 has died from her injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol officials say Paula Stonehocker, 62, was traveling eastbound on Pasco Road east of Marion Lane when she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
Her motorcycle went off the road and collided with a fence and a tree. Stonehocker was thrown from the motorcycle after the second collision.
Troopers say Stonehocker was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. She was transported to Bayonet Point Hospital for treatment of her injuries, and died on April 12.
Troopers also said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
