DUNEDIN, Fla. -- A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash near the intersection of SR 580 and Heather Ridge Boulevard in Dunedin Wednesday morning.

Pinellas County deputies said a Dodge Ram traveling east on SR 580 attempted to turn north onto Heather Ridge Boulevard and traveled into the path of Harley Davidson that was traveling westbound.
The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the truck, ejecting the motorcyclist from the bike.
The victim, identified as Gabriel Dalrymple, 34, was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital for life threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck, Jeffrey Shore, 55, was issued a citation for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
