The family of Jimmy Butler confirmed the news in a post on Facebook.

The body was found Thursday morning by two highway workers, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Pieces of a wrecked motorcycle were also found.

Butler's body was found in bushes along with the southbound shoulder of the highway, just north of 54th Avenue South.

In the post, the father thanked those who supported them the last few days.

"Please keep his daughter, his three sisters in your prayers as they struggle to deal with this loss," he said.

Butler's girlfriend, Katie Ayers, said they were celebrating recently after Bike Week at a club on St. Pete Beach.

They drove different routes back home to Lakewood Ranch, and that was the last time anyone had heard from Butler.
