ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The search for the missing cow has roped in the Big Apple.

Old Homestead Steakhouse, an iconic restaurant in New York, is offering $1,000 for information that leads to the recovery of a plastic cow stolen recently from Harold Seltzer's Steakhouse in St. Petersburg.

Harold Seltzer's posted Saturday on Facebook that its 12-feet-by-3-feet cow had been taken.

Old Homestead has its own life-size sculpture - Annabelle the Cow - perched on top of its restaurant.

"We feel a deep connection to Harold Seltzer's, both having famous bovine sculptures that have become synonymous with our restaurants. Hopefully this reward helps bring back the cow," said co-owner Marc Sherry.

Harold Seltzer's is also offering a free meal for information leading to the return of the cow.
