TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa woman accused of threatening to shoot up a school was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on Thursday.

Juliana Cote, 26, is facing charges for making a school based threat on social media. 

Authorities said Cote posted to her Facebook account on May 16 with a photo of a small fake firearm threatening to "shoot everyone" at the nearest elementary school. 

Later that day deputies interviewed Cote at her home on Lambright Street near Egypt Lake Elementary School, where they say she admitted to creating the Facebook post. 

She is charged with written threats to commit a mass shooting or terrorism and is being held at Falkenburg Road jail.
