  • Sheriff Grady Judd offers $10,000 for information leading to arrest
  • Shay Collins was murdered during a home invasion in June
  • Call 800-226-TIPS with any information

Shay Collins was murdered during a home invasion at her apartment in Dundee on June 27.

Collins' father Rancie Collins and other family members returned to the crime scene Monday to look at the bullet holes and shattered glass.

They are hoping for someone to be charged.  "I want it to happen urgently, as soon as possible," said Collins.

Sheriff Grady Judd has posted a new video on the sheriff's office Facebook page offering the reward.

“And I want to pay you a lot of money for solving this murder. You see this. This is called a wad," Judd said in the video.

Judd can also be seen tossing cash into the air in the video. "It will just rain money," Judd said in the video.

Judd believes there are people who know who killed Shay Collins and hopes the money is a motivator.

"Absolutely. We say that money talks and BS walks. This is all about having information so we can solve the murder," Judd said.

Rancie Collins is also confident. "I’m 100 percent confident that there is somebody out there," he said.

The number to call with information for the reward is 800-226-TIPS.
