TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Police are asking the public's help in tracking down two people suspected of using credit cards stolen from the home of a man who recently died.

According to the agency, the daughter of the recently deceased man discovered that his home had been burglarized on Sept. 18. She noticed her father's wallet, which contained his credit cards, was stolen along with his van and filed a police report.

Investigators later spotted the van in surveillance footage recorded at a local Wawa gas station on Sept. 11. They noted two people getting out of the van at the time.

The same two people were recorded at the Walmart location on Gandy Boulevard purchasing items using the credit cards. In total, the suspects made over $4,000 in fraudulent purchases using the stolen cards at several locations.

The stolen van has since been recovered. The suspects, however, are still at large.

The first suspect, seen in the recordings wearing a red shirt, is described as a man appearing to be in his 20's. The second suspect, a woman, may be in her late teens or early 20's.

The agency released the surveillance video showing the suspects on their Facebook page. Click below to watch the video.

Anyone who can identify the suspects or may have information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-TIPS.
