ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — What would you do for your best friend?

Today's Everyday Hero Kendall Farley went above and beyond to change her best friend's life and make sure the two of them can have many more adventures together.

Nayda Defreitas began experiencing neck pain and tingling after a fall in a volleyball game.

Unrelated to the fall, what followed were many trips to the emergency room and finally a diagnosed with a syndrome a rare auto immune disorder. To make matters worse her family was told insurance would not cover all of the bills and they would be charged $40,000.

That's when Farley lended a hand and started a Go Fund Me page to help pay for Defretas' medical bills.
