Eight-year-old Julian Casillas is shy about some things, except his love for the Tampa Bay Bucs.

“They’re perfect,” he said. “They win a lot, and they’re very awesome!” But, earlier this week, when his class at Twin Lakes Elementary had a jersey day, this Bucs fan found himself without a single thing to wear to show his team spirit.

So like a true fan, Julian got creative and made is very own Bucs jersey.

“I made it from sticky notes, and I made it with a blue color,” Julian said “I used red, and I covered up the sides and put numbers on it.” His mother, Sofia, said buying him a jersey just wasn’t in her budget right now.

“What’s funny is, I almost didn’t let him make it because it was right before bed,” Sofia said. “So, I was trying to rush him to go to bed, but he was like ‘No, wait. I’m making this shirt.’ And I said ‘fine, go ahead, make it.”

And although it isn’t an officially licensed NFL brand jersey, for Julian, it‘s his personal way of cheering on his team to victory.

“I just like them, and I just wanna say, ‘Go Bucs!’”
