Central Florida businesses are struggling to keep up with the economic pressure of new COVID lockdowns in China and the war in Ukraine.

Arif Agloria has been running InStyle Fashion out of Kissimmee for 17 years but says he’s never seen anything like this, when it comes to inflation. He says he’s being forced to raise prices on his customers.

“I get merchandise from Pakistan and China so the freight charges before the pandemic were $3,000 for a container. Right now, it’s $15,000 for a container,” Agloria said.

According to the National Federation of Independent Business Optimism, 26% of business owners say that inflation is their biggest concern at the moment.
