The 31-acre botanical garden is the only one in Hillsborough County’s entire park system. You can find volunteer Brandon Villafranca there at least a couple days a week.

“I just graduated college with my biology degree,” Villafranca said. “So I know the background of plants but I don’t know the application.”

“You know it’s hard work but it’s super rewarding to see how people admire it when it they come by,” Villafranca said.
