PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is searching for multiple suspects after an early Friday home invasion and shooting left three people in critical condition.

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said the three victims were all shot in the head, including a 6-year-old girl. According to Nocco, deputies responded to a home in the Lake Padgett area just after 5 a.m.

Nocco said the 60-year-old father of the main resident of the home was shot when he arrived at the house early Friday and found the four suspects waiting.

The suspects then went into the home looking for the main resident, who was not at the home. Nocco said the suspects then shot the 38-year-old girlfriend of the main resident and their 6-year-old daughter.

“How evil must you be that you're shooting innocent people in their bed while they're sleeping and to shoot a six-year-old? That six-year-old probably had nothing to do with anything," he stated.

The victims are described to have significant injuries and remain in area hospitals.

“Please pray for them. They're in critical condition right now. The family's going through a lot," Nocco said.

Authorities said the shooting stemmed from a previous incident where the main resident of the Lake Padgett home had an altercation last week at an adult establishment in Tampa.

On his way home from this incident, there was a road rage incident between the parties, which appears to be related to the first altercation.

Nocco asked the public for any information regarding the incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the PSO Crime Tips Line at 1-800-706-2488.

“We need information as soon as possible,” Nocco said. "If they are willing to go in and shoot innocent people...a 6-year-old daughter, who knows what else they are willing to do."
