The 2019 novel coronavirus may cause mild to severe respiratory symptoms, such as:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention thinks symptoms may appear in as few as 2 days or as long as 14 days after exposure to the virus.
Health officials say that if you exhibit any of these symptoms AND have been to any countries under a warning level 3 (currently Iran, South Korea, China, or Italy) or alert level 2 (currently Japan) OR have been contact with anyone who has traveled to any of these places, you should contact your Health Department of medical provider before seeking treatment. They will advise you over the phone how to seek treatment or to be tested for COVID-19.
If you have recently returned from Iran, South Korea, China, Italy, or Japan, Florida health officials ask that you self-isolate for 14 days.
