SARASOTA, Fla. — UniverSoul Circus is making a stop in Sarasota for the first time.

Performers from 13 different countries are gathered at the Sarasota Fairgrounds for just two performances scheduled to take place Saturday, December 14.

The UniverSoul Circus is known for its inclusive and diverse atmosphere that features music from around the world. You also won't be in your seat for long as performers spend much of the show incorporating the crowd into their performance.

"You're not just going to be watching the show, you're gonna be a part of the show," said Ringmaster Lucky Malatsi. "You are the main star in our show."

In addition to the music, 11 different performing acts take the stage that will make your jaw drop.

The Pompeyo Dogs, led by Jorge and his daughter Katerina of Sarasota, are also starring in the performance.

The proceeeds of this unique one-day event are going to The Showfolks of Sarasota.

The team with UniverSoul Circus says they're excited to be assisting their Sarasota circus family.

"It's all the circus community. We just love our circus family so that's why we just had to do it," Malatsi said.

Shows will take place at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Sarasota County Fairground on Saturday.
