In an interview with Fox Nation’s “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” the adult film star also said she is looking forward to testifying at Trump’s trial.

“I have nothing to hide,” Daniels said in her first interview since Trump pleaded not guilty Tuesday to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. “I'm the only one that has been telling the truth. And, you know, you can't shame me anymore.”

She said if she is not called to testify, many people will believe that prosecutors concluded she is not a trustworthy witness.

“I think having them call me in and put me on the stand legitimizes my story and who I am, and if they don't, it almost feels like they're hiding me and people automatically assume – I would – that: ‘Oh, she must not be a good witness. She’s not credible,’” Daniels said.

Daniels also said she does not believe Trump should be put behind bars if he’s convicted in the case involving her, although she added that she thinks he might deserve a prison sentence in other cases currently under investigation.

The district attorney in Fulton County, Georgia, is considering whether to pursue charges related to Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Meanwhile, Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith is also looking into Trump’s actions after the 2020 election as well as his handling of classified documents after he left office.

“I don't think that his crimes against me are worthy of incarceration,” Daniels said. “I feel like the other things that he has done, if he is found guilty, absolutely. Because a bigger problem is that if these allegations against him or whatever else that we don't know yet, he is found guilty or the evidence suggests that he is or whatever and he doesn't [receive a prison sentence], that … opens the door for other people to think they can get away with doing that and worse.”

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg alleges that Trump reimbursed his former lawyer Michael Cohen for paying hush money to Daniels so that she wouldn’t hurt his 2016 presidential campaign and mischaracterized the payments as legal fees. Prosecutors also say Trump falsified the records to conceal another unspecified crime.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing.

Excerpts of Daniels’ interview with Morgan were posted online Thursday. The full interview will appear Thursday afternoon on Fox Nation, Fox News’ subscription streaming service, and be broadcast Thursday night on TalkTV in the United Kingdom.
