This week's rain chances have led the Florida High School Athletic Association to reschedule the softball state championships.

Officials cited player safety and avoiding unnecessary travel as reasons for the decision.

The new gamedays are:

Saturday, May 19: Class 5A-9A Semifinals 

Sunday, May 20: Class 5A-9A Finals

Monday, May 21: Class 1A-4A Semifinals 

Tuesday, May 22: Class 1A-4A Finals
