TAMPA -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is going to the 2019 Pro Bowl in Orlando, after all.

The NFL announced on Monday that Evans will replace Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, who is unable to participate due to injury. It will be Evans's second trip to the Pro Bowl.

Evans finished the 2018 season with 86 catches for 1,524 yards and eight touchdowns. He ranked third in the NFL in receiving yards in 2018 and set a new Buccaneers single-season record for receiving yards.

Many Bucs fans were disappointed Evans was not picked for the Pro Bowl when the rosters were first revealed last month.

Evans is the first wide receiver to make multiple Pro Bowls with the Buccaneers.
