ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The showers will continue through this evening. 

Overnight will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy. Some showers will be possible into the overnight. The morning will likely be drier. We may see some low clouds late. Lows will drop only to the mid-60s north, while the Tampa Bay area stays in the upper 60s.

High temperatures will stay in the 70s to around 80 on Sunday.  Scattered showers will be possible, mainly during the afternoon. Breezy winds become southerly, so the humidity will increase.  Skies will be mostly cloudy.

The next front will move in on Monday. Scattered showers will be possible ahead of the front. It will be breezy with south winds eventually turning northwesterly by later in the day. 

Rain chances will drop off starting Tuesday.  Winds will be out of the north and dew points will drop.  Lows will be near 50 north to upper 50s in Tampa in the morning. Highs will only be near 70. Skies will be mostly sunny.

New Year’s Eve will be cooler.  Late evening temperatures will be in the upper 50s.

New Year’s Day will be cool with low humidity and light north winds. High temperatures will be below normal, staying in the 60s.  It will be mostly sunny.

The end of the week will be warmer. Another front is likely next Saturday.
