ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Saturday morning will start off quiet but comfortable. There may be some low clouds and fog in spots. Lows will be mild in the mid 60s for Tampa, low 60s north.

The pattern remains the same through the weekend. This means both Saturday and Sunday will feature lots of sunshine and above average warmth.

Expect temperatures to reach the mid 80s both Saturday and Sunday.

Any hope of a cold front moving through our area is gone. The front will stall north of us this weekend along the Florida Georgia border. It may throw some clouds our way but any rain chance will remain well north of us.

Monday will be quiet with light winds and partly cloudy skies.

A few more clouds may pass by on Tuesday with a stalled front to our north. Temperatures will still be in the low to mid 80s during the afternoon, cooler along the coast.

Next week will be more of the same with dry weather and above-average temperatures. In fact, Tampa may see the warmest air of the season so far toward the end up next week with temperatures near 90 degrees.

This pattern should break down some in early April. This will eventually give us somewhat cooler weather and some needed rain chances, but that is still a ways out.
