ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Friday morning will start off a bit mild with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s for Tampa, low 60s north.

There will be some high clouds through the day on Friday but plenty of sunshine as well. Expect temperatures to climb into the upper 80s away from the coast with mid 80s along the coast before the sea breeze kicks in.

The weekend will be more of the same. Warm days and comfortable nights.

The next cold front approaches the state from the north but stalls out by the Panhandle. Therefore, our pattern for Tampa Bay is not changing anytime soon.

We may see a few more clouds across our area by Sunday as a weak front stalls to our north.

Monday will be quiet with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will climb into the low to mid 80s during the afternoon.

By Tuesday that front will remain nearby and could pop a stray shower in the afternoon, mainly inland and north. Skies will be partly cloudy. A southwest wind will cool the coast down in the afternoon.

No fronts will move through the rest of the work week, so it will stay warm with highs in the mid 80s inland to near 80 near the coast.
