WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Peppa Pig Theme Park will be closed Wednesday after storms rolled through the area Tuesday night.

​​​The closure is due to storm damage, according to a statement the Winter Haven park shared on its social media channels.

“Due to storm damage last night and in an abundance of caution, Peppa Pig Theme Park will be closed today, August 3rd,” the park said in a tweet.

The park plans to reopen on Thursday.

Anyone who had park tickets for Wednesday is asked to contact the park via email at peppapigthemeparkfl@merlinentertainments.biz.

Peppa Pig Theme Park, the first standalone theme park inspired by the children’s TV series Peppa Pig, debuted in February. Located next to Legoland Florida, the park feature several themed rides and attractions as well as a restaurant and gift shop.
