TAMPA, Fla. — It was a deadly overnight on Bay area roadways early Friday as three people were killed in separate crashes. 

In Tampa, a motorcyclist was killed on 50th Street. 

The crash happened around 6 a.m. on 50th just before the Selmon Expressway. The crash closed the southbound lanes for several hours. 

Authorities have not released crash details of the name of the motorcyclist.

Meanwhile, around that same time, a pedestrian was struck and killed in Gibsonton. 

Parts of Gibsonton Drive were closed near Gloria Street as authorities investigated the crash. Deputies said a driver failed to see a pedestrian walking north across Gibsonton Drive. 

The pedestrian was not at an intersection and not in a crosswalk. There was no lighting in the area of the crash. 

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

At this time, there will be no charges in this case. 

Another crash happened Friday morning that left  woman on a bicycle dead, along with a dog, in Hudson. 

Southbound US 19 was blocked off for several hours after 35-year-old Nora Anne Casson was struck near New York Avenue at 2:45 a.m. 

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Casson did not obey the traffic signal, and was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup truck that had the green light.

Casson later died at an area hospital. Her dog died at the scene.
