ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will be mostly clear overnight into early Thursday morning.

We’ll start out cool in the morning with lows in the 40s to low 50s, but the afternoon will be milder with highs getting back into the mid 70s.

That will start the warming trend that we’ve been advertising all week.  You will be able to pull the shorts and flip-flops back out with highs getting back up around 80 on Friday, and into the low to mid 80s this weekend.

Clouds will increase with partly cloudy skies, but the chance of rain will remain small due to high pressure keeping the cold fronts away from our area.
