ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will be partly cloudy overnight into early Saturday morning.

The warmer pattern has kicked in and will stay with us through the weekend. Expect mild morning lows in the 60s.

Saturday afternoon will climb into the low to mid 80s with some spots near a record high for the day. The reason is a strong southerly wind that will make for breezy conditions while pumping in a very warm Caribbean air mass.

There will be a 10 percent chance of a stray shower. Skies will go between partly sunny and variably cloudy.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with lows again in the 60s.

Sunday will be similar with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 80s. There will be a 20 percent chance of a shower that day.

The warm pattern will stick with us into next week.  Some of our long term guidance suggests we will likely see our next cold front to change the pattern possibly next weekend.
