ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Overnight will be partly cloudy and just slightly warmer than last night.

Sunday will continue the warmth. Winds will be breezy out of the south to start, then will become southwesterly as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Scattered showers will move in from the Gulf starting in the morning for the Nature Coast moving southeast from midday into to the evening across the area.  Highs will be in the low 70s. But where it is raining, it will be cooler.

The cold front will move through Sunday evening. Cooler air will push in quickly by Monday morning on north winds.  Lows will be in the upper 40s for Tampa Bay to near 40 for the Nature Coast. It will be breezy.

Cooler air will continue to push in during Monday on north winds.  It will be breezy to windy with highs staying in the mid 60s.  Dew points will plunge. Skies will be partly cloudy.

So Monday night may be the coolest of the season so far.  Lows will be in the low 40s for Tampa, upper 30s inland, and around the freezing mark for Citrus and Hernando Counties. A breeze may prevent frost though.

Tuesday will start off very chilly, and will not warm up much.  It will still be breezy with north winds. Highs will stay in the upper 50s!  Skies will be sunny though.

Winds will be lighter Tuesday night, so it may be chillier. Lows will be near 40 for Tampa, mid 30s inland, to near 30 for the Nature Coast.  And if winds go calm, then those temperatures will be lower!  We are likely to keep a little breeze.

On Wednesday, there will be a little warming. Skies will be mostly sunny. Highs will be in the low 60s. It will still be breezy.

By Thursday, highs will get back to around normal.

Rain will be possible Friday.

Another front may move through next weekend.
