ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will be partly cloudy overnight into early Tuesday morning with a few areas of patchy fog around sunrise.  Lows will be pleasant in the 60s.

Tuesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with warmer afternoon highs reaching the low 80s at the coast, mid 80s for most areas, and upper 80s inland.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear with areas of fog and lows in the 60s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with warm highs in the mid to upper 80s away from the water.

An onshore wind will develop Wednesday into Thursday, resulting in increasing humidity. As a result, expect a muggier feel Thursday even though our actual high temperatures will not change.

Atmospheric moisture will increase with a cold front approaching Friday. That will lead to scattered rain showers in the area.  Behind the front will be cooler air for the weekend.

The good news is the long-term pattern looks more active with yet another rain chance by Sunday or Monday and likely another cold front next week.
