ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — High pressure remains in control of the weather, so, the sunshine will continue today.

So winds will stay light, allowing for an afternoon sea breeze over the next couple days. There will be plenty of sunshine for a while. Highs will be near normal. Rain chances remain low, even ahead of the next front Wednesday.

Overnight will be clear, but warmer. Lows will be in the mid-50s north to mid-60s for Tampa. There may be some low clouds late.

On Monday winds will continue to be light, allowing for the sea breeze. Temperatures will be in the low 80s near the coast to near 90 inland.

After some morning clouds on Tuesday, skies will be sunny again. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 away from the coast. The sea breeze will keep the coast cooler.

The next front is expected on Wednesday night.  Rain chances look slim on Wednesday ahead of the front though. After the front, the humidity should drop again Thursday afternoon into Friday. But that might not last very long. The next front will be moving in Saturday. It will bring some showers.
