ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will be clear with comfortable conditions overnight into early Wednesday morning.  Lows will be in the 60s to upper 50s.

What You Need To Know

Although our afternoon highs have crept back up into the warm range, the humidity remains low, which is why the mornings and evenings are still very comfortable.

The next couple of days will be similar, with warm afternoons and pleasant nights.

The main reason we’re seeing the afternoon temperatures running warmer is because of the wind direction. Winds are from the east, and when that occurs the warmest air builds up on our side of the state while the other side of the state actually sees below average temperatures.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s. Thursday will be the same.

Moisture will increase just enough on Friday into Saturday to likely give us a few scattered afternoon showers at that time.

A low pressure will pass by to our south and east this weekend, which could ultimately become a sub-tropical depression in the Atlantic, but it would not move toward our state.
