UPDATE: After initially limiting attendance at the NFL Experience to ticket holders with reservations, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission's executive director announced Tuesday on Twitter that the pre-Super Bowl fan frenzy will allow some walk-up attendance on Wednesday and Thursday at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. 

"Capacity is limited & entry isn’t guaranteed. Don’t forget to download the NFL OnePass app!" Rob Higgins wrote.

Our news partner, the Tampa Bay Times, reports that a limited number of walk-ups will be allowed in between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., but no walk-ups will be accepted on Friday and Saturday.

TAMPA, Fla. — The Super Bowl is coming to town and so are experiences for fans and residents of the area.

The Super Bowl Experience is taking place along the Tampa Riverwalk Friday, January 29 to Sunday, January 31 and from Wednesday, February 3 – Saturday, February 6.


What You Need To Know

  • The Super Bowl Experience will stretch 2.7 miles along the Tampa Riverwalk

  • The park will be open on select dates until the big game on February 7

  • Guests can book their free reservations through the NFL One Pass app

Fans will be able to virtually meet NFL players of past and present, play games and browse NFL merchandise.

Activities for fans to participate in include a 40-yard dash and an LED virtual vertical jump against NFL players.

Photographs of the Vince Lombardi trophy will be on display as well as a Super Bowl ring display that encompasses all 54 previous Super Bowl rings.

Attendance to the Super Bowl experience is free though fans will need to download the NFL One Pass app to secure a reservation, as capacity is limited due to the pandemic and social distancing protocols.

Tickets can be book for two adults and five minors at one time.

A standby walk up option will be available for fully booked days at Julian B. Lane. Fans will be allowed in per current capacity. Attendees are encouraged to park in available lots along the Riverwalk.

Masks are required at the Super Bowl Experience for attendees 2 years and over, except for when actively eating or drinking.

According to the NFL website, the experience will have “enhanced, ongoing disinfecting of all high touch surfaces.” Cash will not be accepted at the event.

For those wanting to get in on the action virtually, the NFL One Pass app will have a variety of football video games available. The app can be downloaded for both Apple and Android devices.
