ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Racing fans, start those engines. The 2022 Firestone Grand Prix is speeding its way into Tampa Bay!

Here's what you need to know.

WHEN IS IT?

All of the racing fun kicks off on Friday, February 25, and runs through Sunday, February 27. The first race of the weekend starts nice and early, at 7:45 a.m. on Friday. It's the Indy Pro 2000 series' first qualifier.

WHERE DO I GO?

Follow your ears! Head to downtown St. Petersburg. The streets along the waterfront near Straub Park have been converted into a 1.8 mile race track. Walking up, you'll almost certainly hear the loud engines and excitement.
