TAMPA, Fla. — With an agreement finally in place between Major League Baseball owners and its players, what about Opening Day?

MLB will have Opening Day on April 7, and it's expected the Tampa Bay Rays will play their first game April 8 against the Baltimore Orioles in their home opener. Two more games with the O's will follow, followed by three games againt the Oakland Athletics, according to our news partner the Tampa Bay Times.

The games that had been scheduled for March 31-April 3 at Boston and April 4-6 at Toronto are likely to be rescheduled as part of the agreement, in which the league hopes a full slate of 162 games can be played.

As for what the Rays had to say on social media?

Baseball is back.
