Sections of I-75 closed due to rising waters in the Myakka River have been reopened, Florida Department of Transportation officials said Saturday afternoon.

Due to the rising water, I-75 in both directions had been closed from mile marker 179 (North Port / Toledo Blade Blvd) to mile marker 193 (Englewood / Jacaranda Blvd).

All sections of the roadway have now been reopened.
