TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Lightning will start the 2021 preseason schedule Sept; 28 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C., with a playoff rematch against the Carolina Hurricanes, the team said in announcing its seven-game exhibition schedule.

The Lightning’s first preseason home game is scheduled for Sept. 30 against the Nashville Predators.

Tampa Bay will close out its 2021 preseason schedule with another playoff rematch, featuring three consecutive games against the Florida Panthers — including one at Orlando’s Amway Center on Oct. 5. The Lightning and Panthers last played in Orlando on Sept. 27, 2018, a 6-2 Bolts victory.
