ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A stationary front will remain across North Florida overnight.

The front will move east into the Atlantic, but not through our area, so we stay warm and on the humid side. A few showers will continue through the evening.

Overnight will be warmer with lows in the mid 60s for Tampa, with upper 50s north.

Monday will be as warm and humid as Sunday afternoon. Southwest winds will get the onshore flow going sooner, so coastal areas may be cooler than Sunday afternoon.

High temperatures in the coastal areas will be in the upper 70s while inland areas heat up into the low 80s. A stray shower will be possible in the afternoon.

Tuesday will continue the warm trend. Morning temperatures will stay in the mid 60s for Tampa.  Expect partly sunny skies. A sea breeze will keep the coastal areas in the upper 70s, while inland areas will again be in the low 80s.

This same warm and humid pattern will continue through Wednesday night.

Sometime on Thursday, the next front will move in.  A few showers will be possible mainly in the afternoon.

On Friday winds turn out of the north to northeast. Cooler and less humid air will move in. It will be breezy.

High temperatures will hover around normal through next weekend.
