All Hillsborough County offices and facilities will close Monday, Sept. 26 for regular operations to allow staff to focus on the emergency response to Hurricane Ian. 

The closure includes all County libraries, parks, preserves, and recreation centers. All County public meetings have also been postponed. The Veterans Memorial Park open house scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27, has been postponed. The open house will be rescheduled at a later date. 
 
Hillsborough County Solid Waste will continue normal collection operations as scheduled and all Solid Waste facilities will remain open on Monday, Sept. 26.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS

Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay has closed all club locations in Hillsborough County in response to Tropical Storm Ian beginning Monday through Thursday.  All Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay club locations in Pasco County will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Clubs will remain closed until an all clear signal is given, at which time normal operations in undamaged locations will resume. Updated information may be found on this station or by calling Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay at 813-875-5771.

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY

Offices and clinics of the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County are closed for regular operations starting Sept. 26 to allow for staff to focus on the emergency response to Hurricane Ian.

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN PASCO COUNTY

All Florida Department of Health in Pasco County offices will be closed for regular operations starting Wednesday, Sept. 28 through Friday, Sept. 30 for staff to prepare and focus on the emergency response in the Emergency Operations Center and Special Needs Shelters.

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN CITRUS COUNTY

The Florida Department of Health in Citrus County will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29 in response to Hurricane Ian.

TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING PRESEASON GAMES POSTPONED

We have postponed our preseason games on Wednesday, September 28 against Carolina and Thursday, September 29 against Nashville at Amalie Arena due to the potential effects of Hurricane Ian.
